144 CrPC PROMULGATED IN DIMAPUR AFTER MOB CLASH WITH POLICE
Tear gas shells and intermittent blank firing were resorted by Dimapur Police to quell a mob of around five hundred that had gathered outside the West Police Station while some erected blockade on the highway. The cracking sound of weapons fire happened at around 10.30 p.m. when Police and IRB tried to disperse the mob.
