MYRTLE BEACH -- Police arrested a man and a woman on drug charges early Sunday morning, according to a report.

According to a Myrtle Beach police report, Lavitra Nielene McDonald, 42, of Conway was charged with manufacture, distribution, etc. of methamphetamine and resisting arrest.

Thomas Edward Owens Jr., 42, of Myrtle Beach was charged with manufacture, possession of schedule four drugs, which is described as being a drug or substance with low potential for being abused and is accepted for use in medical treatment.
