Greg Magrum was arrested for unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia and ingestion of methamphetamine. The first two charges are Class C felonies while the third is a Class A misdemeanor.

McCausland was arrested for  unlawful possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia, both Class C felonies. Andrew Magrum was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana, a Class C felony.

Their vehicles were also seized. In addition to searching the house on 8th Street East, a search warrant was also executed at Magrum Motors, located on 2nd Street West in Williston. Additional warrants were served to allow searches in the vehicles and on the personsof Greg Magrum and McCausland, according to the press release.

The Williams County Sheriff's Office and the North Dakota Highway Patrol assisted in the arrests.

According to law enforcement, additional arrests are also expected.

Caught on Highway 2

In a separate incident, Christopher Noakes was arrested for possession of narcotics with intent to sell.

The Williston police reported a law enforcement officer was informed of a fight in progress on Highway 2 in a four-door green Toyota. Upon arriving at the location, the officer noticed the vehicle in a ditch. Two people were near the vehicle, one of them Christopher Noakes and the other a female who was traveling with him.

The female reported that she had been involved in an altercation with Noakes while in the vehicle involving one or more golf balls.

The officer went to check on the golf ball story and instead found drugs.

Inside the car, the officer found a glass smoking device with a white residue consistent with methamphetamine and a large vacuum-sealed baggie containing green leaves that the officer identified as marijuana.

In addition, there was a green digital scale and unused plastic baggies inside the vehicle. Noakes did not consent to a search of the trunk of the vehicle, and the officer obtained a search warrant for it. In the trunk, the officer located more digital scales.

Upon searching Noakes' person, law enforcement found approximately $4,280 in cash.

Based on the drugs, the unused baggies, the digital scales and the large amount of cash, law enforcement determined that there was enough evidence to arrest Noakes for possession of narcotics with intent to sell.
