A celebrity-obsessed Rossville man, with a history of disturbing behavior, was arrested on multiple charges of distributing obscene material on Friday, Aug. 23, after it was learned that he sent naked photos of his genitalia to a notable Los Angeles, Calif., law firm, police said.

According to the Catoosa County Sheriff's Office:

Dennis Shaun Bowman, 28, of Belmeade Drive in Rossville, was arrested Aug. 23 on seven counts of distributing obscene materials.

Bowman remained in the Catoosa County jail as of Monday morning with bond set at $24,500.

According to Capt. Chris Lyons, Friday's arrest falls in line with years of odd behavior from Bowman, who has become infatuated with more than one female celebrity.

"He (Bowman) had an obsession with Kim Kardashian for a long time, and now claims to have some sort of relationship with Scarlett Johansson," Lyons said.

The distributing obscene material charges that Bowman recently garnered came after notable Hollywood attorney Kevin Yorn received emails from Bowman with photos of Bowman's penis attached, reports show.

Yorn's law firm in Glendale, Calif., currently represents Johansson, who at the moment seems to be the object of Bowman's obsession.

"There have been previous incidents where Mr. Bowman was arrested for harassing phone calls to the attorney, and it's my understanding that they've obtained restraining orders against him in the past," Lyons said.

"There was a point in time when they received so many voicemails from him (Bowman), that it jammed up their phone system," Lyons said.

On Monday, Jan. 7, the law firm's private investigator Jon Perkins told police that Yorn arrived to work to find that he had approximately 82 voicemails from Bowman, reports show.

Between Dec. 30, 2012, and Jan. 7 2013, the firm received the voicemails and an additional 100-plus emails while it was closed for holiday vacation.

In that report, the firm told police that the repeated inquiries by Bowman had become "annoying, disruptive to the work environment, and alarming to some who are concerned for their safety."

Due to Bowman's history, and the fact that that he already has a protective order filed against him by Kardashian, the firm was advised to be on extra alert.

"It's a strange case," Lyons said. "He (Bowman) even moved out to Los Angeles for a while so that he could be closer to these stars. The LAPD is well aware of Mr. Bowman's history. This behavior of his has been going on for several years."
