3 young people killed in Bay Area crash - Santa Rosa Press Democrat

The CHP says the car was carrying five people when it struck a guardrail on an eastbound off-ramp around 9:45 p.m. Sunday. It flipped over, hit a utility pole and came to rest on its roof.

The 12-year-old, his 16-year-old brother and the 21-year-old driver were killed. Their names have not been released.

The 18-year-old brother of the 12 and 16-year-olds was in critical condition at Stanford Medical Center. Another 18-year-old suffered minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, and the CHP is looking for help from any possible witnesses.
