At least 131 people were killed in Syria on Sunday in operations conducted by forces loyal to President Bashar al Assad despite an agreed ceasefire during the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha, according to Syrian Network for Human Rights.
U.N.-Arab League envoy Lakhdar Brahimi brokered the 4-day truce during the Eid al-Adha holiday that Muslims is Syria began observing on Friday.
Syrian Revolutionary Council has said that Assad forces strike over 100 targets by heavy weapons, adding that they had breached the truce 127 times on Sunday alone.
