FIFA charges Swiss coach with obscene gesture - Himalayan Times

ZURICH: Switzerland coach Ottmar Hitzfeld has been charged by FIFA for using an obscene hand gesture during the World Cup qualifier against Norway.

During the first half of the 1-1 draw on Friday, Hitzfeld was pictured raising his middle finger at Spanish referee David Fernandez.

The former Bayern Munich coach will still coach Switzerland against Iceland on Tuesday.

Switzerland leads Group E by one point after conceding a late game-tying goal to Norway.
