Man Arrested for Bringing Drugs into Prison - FOX 40 News WICZ TV

A man was arrested after police say he brought drugs into the Chenango County Correctional Facility.

The Chenango County Sheriff's Office said Saturday that officers arrested Jeremy Hazard of Smyrna, New York Thursday on a warrant for bringing marihuana into the facility.

He was arraigned in the Town of Norwhich court and charged with Promoting Prison Contraband in the second degree. He is being held on $1,000 cash bail and will reappear in court at a later date.
