Napa woman arrested on suspicion of drug possession - Napa Valley Register

A 20-year-old Napa woman was arrested Saturday night on suspicion of possession after she was allegedly found to be carrying drugs while sitting in a parked car, the Napa County Sheriff's Office said.

Around 10:45 Saturday, a deputy on patrol at the north end of Big Ranch Road observed a parked vehicle, authorities said. The deputy allegedly smelled burnt marijuana in the vehicle and proceeded to conduct a search.

The deputy allegedly found oxycodone and hydrocodone, which allegedly belonged to passenger Whitney Woltz, 20. Woltz was arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs and booked into the Napa jail.
