Police arrested two people on drug-related charges early Monday morning, after marijuana and heroin were discovered at a rooming house in the city's west end.

Officers stormed the residence on Lansdowne Avenue, just south of Bloor Street, just after 2 a.m.

Police said the search warrant turned up more than 100 grams of marijuana and more than four grams of heroin.

A 31-year-old man and 23-year-old woman have been arrested. Each suspect faces five drug-related charges.

The suspects were scheduled to appear in court Monday morning.
