Two people killed in collision southeast of Red Deer - Globalnews.ca

EDMONTON – RCMP are investigating after two people were killed in a collision in central Alberta.

The collision happened on Highway 27 near Range Road 250, around 10:00 Sunday morning.

Exact details of the collision are not known at this time, but police say a truck collided with a piece of heavy equipment on Highway 27.

Two people in the truck were pronounced dead at the scene.

Three Hills RCMP and collision analysts are on scene, but believe weather and road conditions were factors in the collision.

Officers are reminding motorists to drive with extra caution as they transition into winter driving conditions.
