JAMESTOWN, S.C. Authorities say four people have died after a fiery crash involving five vehicles in Berkeley County.
Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury says three of the people killed were in a van from The Lighthouse of Jesus Christ Church of Georgetown and were traveling to sing and play music at another church.
The Highway Patrol says the wreck happened around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. Highway 17-A just outside of Jamestown. A special team of troopers is investigating the crash and is still trying to determine what happened.
The coroner says the people in the van died from burns. The fourth victim was in another vehicle and died from injuries suffered in the wreck.
Authorities say a vehicle going north collided with several driving south on the highway.
