A 22-year-old Lancashire man has been charged with the murder of his three-year-old daughter.
Lia Green was taken to hospital after paramedics were called to her home on Norris Street, Preston, on 30 August but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Post-mortem tests revealed her injuries were caused by "significant violence".
Richard Green, of Harling Road, Preston, has been charged with murder and will appear before Preston Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
He has also been charged with causing or allowing the death of a child.
A 20-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on police bail until 16 January.
And a 22-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice has been bailed until 13 November.
