MONSON - Police arrested an 18-year-old Thompson Street man on drug possession charges after an investigation.
Police Chief Stephen Kozloski Jr. said that officers were at 45 Thompson St. at approximately 5 p.m. on Friday as part of an investigation into a recent housebreak in that neighborhood.
He said officers searched a vehicle and found 26 individually wrapped packages of a substance believed to be crack cocaine and a bag of prescription pills believed to be morphine and three scales.
Police arrested Christopher Tetreault, of 45 Thompson St., in connection with the drugs, charging him with possession of a Class B substance and Class E substance with intent to distribute. He was held on $25,000 bail pending his arraignment in Palmer District Court on Monday; arraignment information was not available.
