MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) -- Montana offensive tackle Trevor Poole was arrested on a felony drug charge over the weekend after a drug task force officer reported seeing him exchange cash for a plastic baggie at a large Halloween party.
Court record say when officers approached Poole, he told them he had two ''molly'' pills in his pocket that he had purchased that night. ''Molly'' is the street name for a form of the drug ecstasy.
Poole made an initial appearance in Justice Court on Monday on a charge of criminal possession of dangerous drugs and was released on his own recognizance.
School officials say the 20-year-old sophomore from Spokane, Wash., has been suspended indefinitely. The university's student-athlete code of conduct calls for the dismissal for athletes who are convicted of a felony.
