Two men were arrested early Wednesday morning for alleged drug-related violations at Napa Premium Outlets, including the driver who was on probation with search and seizure terms, according to Napa Police.
The officer who stopped the car at about 12:30 a.m. knew the driver, Anthony Urzua-Mares, 25, of Napa, was on probation, police said. Both the driver and a passenger, Christian Salinas, 24, of Napa, were evaluated and suspected of being under the influence of drugs, police said.
During the search of the vehicle, police found suspected methamphetamine and a drug pipe in the passenger compartment.
Both Urzua-Mares and Salinas were booked into the Napa County jail on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, being in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, police said. Urzua-Mares was also booked for allegedly violating the terms of his probation, according to the jail logs.
