A Las Vegas man was arrested last week on alleged drug violations after a police officer found oxycodone in his car during a traffic stop on U.S. 97, Oregon State Police said.
Kenneth Lee Ottrix, 54, was pulled over around 4:20 p.m. on Dec. 12 for allegedly speeding in Bend, Oregon State Police said in a press release.
A trooper discovered about 3,000 Oxycodone pills concealed in the trunk of the car, a 1992 Cadillac Seville, police said. The drugs are estimated to be worth $90,000.
Ottrix was taken into custody and is being held at the Deschutes County Jail on accusations of unlawful possession, distribution and manufacture of a Controlled Substance.
