Lottery winner arrested on drug charges - WAVY-TV

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A woman who recently won $100,000 in the lottery has been picked up on drug charges in Suffolk.

Diana Klink with the City of Suffolk said Sharon Kay Revell, 47, of Suffolk was arrested May 31 on two counts of distributing schedule I or II drugs, one count of possession with the intent to distribute and one count of distribution or sale of drugs on or near school property – library.

Revell won $100,000 in February in the Virginia Lottery's Jewel 7's Scratcher game. The ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven in Portsmouth.

Additional charges are possible. Further information was not immediately available.
