Man arrested after search finds drugs, gun - Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier

WATERLOO | Officers with Waterloo Police Department's Violent Crime Apprehension Team and Patrol Division seized a handgun and marijuana after searching at home Thursday night.

Authorities arrested Corey Montrell Turner, 31, of 425 Randall St., was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and violation of the drug tax stamp act. He was later release from jail.

According to court records, officers searched Turner's home, which is down the street from Belmont Park, at 3 p.m. Thursday and found a 9mm Interarms semi-automatic pistol and more than 42 grams of marijuana.
