Two arrested over drugs and counterfeit money - Times of Malta

A 28-year-old man from Qormi but resident in Zebbug has been arrested by the police Drug Squad following a cocaine trafficking investigation.

He was held this morning while on his way to Qormi to traffic the drug, the police said. He was found in the possession of cocaine packed in sachets.

During another investigation yesterday, the squad also arrested a 24-year-old man from Birzebbugia for possession of counterfeit money.

Both men are expected to be arraigned in court in the coming days.
