HANOVER, N.J. (AP) - As drug busts go, it practically came gift-wrapped.
Police in Hanover say a 23-year-old man was attempting to enter the Morris County town's municipal court last week when he set off a metal detector. When a police officer checked him, 10 decks of heroin were allegedly discovered inside a pack of cigarettes.
The Daily Record of Parsippany (http://dailyre.co/1byp5Xk) reports James Davis of Basking Ridge was arrested on the spot and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Davis was unable to make bail and was remanded to the county correctional facility.
It wasn't immediately known if Davis had retained an attorney.
