Two people killed in Hastings car crash - Syracuse.com

Hastings, N.Y. -- Police are still investigating a one-car crash in the town of Hastings that killed two people.

Kay-Lynne Parkhurst, 19, of Hastings, died after her 1998 Toyota went off Bradford Road, struck a tree and caught fire, according to the Oswego County Sheriff's Office.

A juvenile male, who was a passenger, also was killed. His identity was not released.

Parkhurst's car was traveling northbound when the accident occurred at 6:09 p.m. Wednesday.
