Drug arrest after community tips off police - This is Bristol

A MAN was arrested after 44 small bags believed to contain cannabis were seized by police following a tip off.

Officers searched a property in Chargrove, Yate under the Misuse of Drugs Act on December 15.

1. Avon and Somerset Police

A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug, and bailed pending forensic tests on the substance.

Neighbourhood Inspector Andy Workman said: "We're grateful to the local community for telling us about crime and disorder in their neighbourhood.

"I hope this action will encourage more people to get in touch so that we can tackle the issues that are a concern to them."
