TROY, Ohio - A Kentucky man is facing felony drug charges after State Highway Patrol troopers in Ohio found several bags of marijuana that they say became dislodged from the man's bumper following a traffic crash.

Troopers said they clocked Brandon Means speeding on Interstate 75 on Monday morning in western Ohio. When authorities tried catch up to the vehicle, it struck another from behind.

Troopers said that while investigating the crash, they discovered 885 grams of hydroponic marijuana worth roughly $9,000.

The 27-year-old Means has been charged with possession of marijuana and possession of criminal tools.

Means was treated for minor injuries at a hospital and is being held at the Miami County jail. It wasn't immediately clear whether he had an attorney.
