Arrests after drugs allegedly found in car at Park Holme - The Daily Telegraph

TWO men have been arrested after police allegedly found methamphetamine in their car during a routine traffic stop at Park Holme.

It is alleged the drugs were found in a plastic bag hidden under the trim in the centre console during the search on Marion Rd, about 8.30pm yesterday.

Searches at both men's home addresses allegedly uncovered about 400 packets of painkillers and prescription drugs, police said.

A West Richmond man, 42, and a Queenstown man, 48, were each charged with possessing a controlled drug and prescription drug.

They were bailed to appear in court at a later date.
