Manchester drugs raids lead to 10 being charged - BBC News

Ten people have been charged with supplying class A drugs following a series of raids on addresses in north Manchester.

Officers executed warrants on 18 addresses in Cheetham Hill and Crumpsall on Thursday.

The ten include one boy aged 15 and two aged 17. Another man was charged with obstructing a police officer.

They appeared before Manchester Magistrates and are due to appear at Manchester Crown Court on 9 November.

Three men arrested for immigration offences have been referred to the UK Borders Agency.

One man arrested on suspicion of drugs offences was released on bail, another man arrested for theft was also bailed.

Another man arrested on suspicion of supplying drugs was released without charge.
