(KCEN) -- Across the globe 32 people were killed in Egypt today during a demonstration stemming from a deadly soccer riot last year.
A criminal court issued a verdict condemning at least 21 defendants to death for a massacre that took place at a soccer stadium in February of last year.
Seventy-four members and fans of a popular soccer club were killed.
Many people in Egypt believe It was not a spontaneous outburst of fan on fan violence but rather a conspiracy to punish the fans of the soccer team who have been at the forefront of the country's revolution.
The last 24 hours have been some of the bloodiest since the start of the revolution claiming 41 lives total.
Nine people died in anti-government street demonstrations yesterday in Cairo.
