Two Napa men on Monday pleaded not guilty in Napa County Superior Court to transportation and possession of methamphetamine, according to court records.
David Binstock, 57, and Scott Robinson, 48, were arrested at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday during a traffic stop near Kansas and Soscol avenues, according to Napa Police. They were suspected of being under the influence of drugs, Capt. Jeff Troendly said.
Binstock allegedly had suspected methamphetamine in his coat pockets, Troendly said. Two small baggies of suspected methamphetamine were found in his vehicle, along with packaging material consistent with the drug sales, he said.
Both Binstock and Robinson were booked into the Napa County jail on suspicion of being in possession of a controlled substance and transportation of a controlled substance, police said.
The next hearing for Binstock and Robinson is Jan. 16.
