Two People Killed In 2 Vehicle Collision - WFMD

Three others were injured. Route 75 will remain closed for several more hours.

Maryland State Police in Frederick say 2 people were killed and 3 others were injured in an accident Monday afternoon.

Investigators said a tractor trailer was northbound on Route 75 when it rounded a sharp curve at Ed McClain Road and overturned onto a southbound pickup truck. Two people inside the pickup were pronounced dead at the scene.  A passenger was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore.  The driver of the tractor trailer was also flown to Shock Trauma, and his passenger was transported to Frederick Memorial Hospital. 

Investigators are still on the scene and say Route 75, north of I-70 will remain closed for several more hours.
