SLIDELL, La. – Police arrested 14 people in connection with a drug dealing ring in which heroin was sold out of a fast food restaurant, according to Slidell Police.
Police launched an investigation in October after getting several tips about heroin dealing in the Slidell area, according to police spokesman Capt. Kevin Foltz.
By the end of the investigation, 14 people were nabbed for possession of heroin and other related charges, said Foltz.
James Davis, 21, of Slidell, was arrested for selling heroin at his job at a fast food restaurant, said a statement from Foltz. "It was learned that after contacting Davis, he advised the buyer to drive through the rear parking lot and he would exit the business and make the deal, essentially having his own drive thru drug dealing location. No other employee at the restaurant was involved or had knowledge of Davis' activities."
Slidell Police are still working to determine who is main dealer and supplier of the heroin.

- James Davis, 21, of Slidell, (arrested 10-23-12) was arrested on three counts of Distribution of a schedule I controlled dangerous substance
- Norman G. Shephard Jr., 30, of Slidell, (10-23-12) was arrested for Possession of a schedule I and III controlled dangerous substance
- William E. Frazier, 30, of Slidell, (10-23-12) was arrested for Possession of a schedule I controlled dangerous substance
- Joshua P. Loyacano, 30, of Slidell, (10-23-12) was arrested for Possession of a schedule I controlled dangerous substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Creation of a Clandestine Lab
- Devin P. Hart, 24 of Slidell, (10-23-12) was arrested for Possession of a schedule I controlled dangerous substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Deborah S. Sullivan, 39 of Pearl River, La. (10-24-12) was arrested for Possession of a schedule I controlled dangerous substance
- Misty S. Kinler, 39, of Slidell, (10-24-12) was arrested for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a schedule I controlled dangerous substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Rebecca L. Hingle, 24, Slidell, (10-24-12) was arrested for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a schedule I controlled dangerous substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Resisting an Officer
- Jason M. Pearl, 27, of Slidell, (10-24-12) was arrested for Possession of a schedule I controlled dangerous substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
