Arrest over Class A and B drugs seizure - U.TV

The police raid took place on Thursday in The Birches area.

The suspect was detained on suspicion of possession of Class A and Class B controlled drugs and possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs.

A sum of cash and mobile phones were also seized.

Inspector Tom Mahood, of the Neigbourhood Policing Team, said: "Communities regularly voice their concerns about the impact that drugs have on young people and the wider associated anti-social behaviour issues that accompany drug misuse.

"I assure the community that Officers are committed to tackling the issue of drugs.

"By reporting any information or concerns that you may have in relation to drug activity or suspected drug activity, you are reducing the harm caused in communities by drugs."
