POLICE arrested a 41-year-old man following a drugs raid at a house.
Officers swooped on an address on Rothesay Road, Normacot, at 9am yesterday and discovered a small quantity of cannabis plants.
A police spokesman said: "A warrant was executed under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
"A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis with intent to supply.
"Scenes of crime officers have been at the location and we have found a small quantity of plants in the property.
"The man will be questioned over the matter."
A local resident said: "I saw a police van, car and an unmarked car pull up before they all went in to the house with tools."
