X-rated video, photos among newly released evidence in prostitution scandal - Orlando Sentinel

Newly released documents, photos and videos seized in a prostitution bust that ensnared Central Florida politicians Mike Horner and Phil Bonus reveal client lists, photos of men and women in various states of undress, sex acts and identification of purported customers.

The information, released Friday by the Orange-Osceola State Attorney's Office, is part of a court case against Mark Risner, 55. He is charged with running a brothel out of his house on Vincent Road in the Union Park neighborhood of east Orange County.

The evidence, which police obtained from three cellphones, a digital camera and a computer, includes ads for sex, men's drivers licenses and work identification cards, a car registration, a certificate of completion of a parents, children and divorce course and a letter from a Canadian pharmacy giving Risner a discount code to buy Viagra.

Among the graphic video and photos — many too X-rated to describe in a mainstream publication — include an older man wearing women's lacy thong underwear, a naked man with "Lucky you" tattooed above his genitals, two women having sex, a man and a woman having sex in a kitchen, condoms marked "fast & discreet shipping," a room with a leopard- and zebra-print motif and a woman in pink lingerie lounging on a white fuzzy rug.

It appears that some men were posing, while others had no idea their actions were being recorded. Previously released documents stated that a room at Risner's house contained hidden cameras. The documents state that Risner, who is charged with violating the state's Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act and prostitution-related crimes, took a 25 percent cut of the profits, kept appointment schedules and screened potential customers.

A forensic evidence examination by Orlando police revealed text messages between Risner — whose nickname is "Byrd" — and one of the women.

Byrd: u awake?

Byrd: I [sic] client wants a date ASAP.

Byrd: I told him 1pm and he's asking for sometime earlier. CALL ME.

Woman: I can be there at 11.

Evidence previously released by prosecutors included contact information for Bonus and a campaign re-election phone number for Horner, a Republican state representative from Kissimmee. Horner dropped his re-election bid shortly after his name was made public last month in the prostitution scandal. He has since resigned as president of the Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce, effective Jan. 31.

Bonus, then Maitland's vice mayor, admitted to patronizing prostitutes after his name showed up on Risner's client list. The City Council stripped him of his title, but he didn't resign until news surfaced that he had been charged with DUI in Tampa in December.

Prosecutors said they don't plan to arrest any of the johns.
