Three people were killed on Calgary streets overnight in separate vehicle accidents.

The deaths come just hours after a motorcyclist died in a crash in southeast Calgary Tuesday afternoon.

At about 12:30 a.m. MT on Wednesday a driver heading south on Deerfoot Trail near McKnight Boulevard noticed a car had gone off the road and hit a median, police said.

A woman in her 60s was found inside. She died from her injuries.

It's believed she had a pre-existing medical condition which may have led to the crash, police said.

About an hour later another driver came across an accident scene on Elbow Drive and 30th Avenue S.W.

Police said it appears a vehicle sped into a pole. Two young men were found dead at the scene.
