James Strube, Holly Strube killed in Franklin Co. crash - KSDK

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. - (KSDK) The Missouri Highway Patrol is investigating a double fatal accident.

James Strube, 53, and Holly Strube, 33 of Villa Ridge were killed while driving their 2004 Chevy Trailblazer around 1:30 p.m. Saturday.  The accident also left two children, Danny Strube, 13, and Kevin Strube, 10, in serious condition. 

James Strube was driving the SUV westbound on route AH and crossed the center line. The driver overcorrected and traveled off the right side of the roadway, striking a rock and tree, totaling the vehicle.

The driver, James Strube, and passenger, Holly Strube, were pronounced dead on the scene while the two children were air lifted to Cardinal Glennon hospital. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of accident.
