SAN ANTONIO - The  San Antonio Public Library is turning the page on its internet policy. The board approved implementing a filter to block anyone from accessing obscene or pornographic images while surfing the web. The move makes the library in compliance with the federal Children's Internet Protection Act, and as a result, eligible to receive certain federal discounts on technology. Previously, you were not allowed to access obscene images but no technology prevented you from doing so.The next step is for the board to determine what kind of filter will be used.Library to use filters to block obscene images
