Magnolia Man Arrested In Drug Bust, Police Say - MyFox Philadelphia

MAGNOLIA, Del. -

A Magnolia man was arrested Thursday after a two-month investigation into dealing illegal drugs, Delaware State Police say.

Detectives say 37-year-old Jerome L. Smith was taken into custody when they conducted a search warrant on the first block of McKinley Circle.

During the search, detectives say they found 4.6 pounds of marijuana packaged for sale, 21 Oxycodone pills, 17 Ecstasy pills, drug paraphernalia, over $3,100 in suspected drug proceeds, and a fully loaded 9-mm handgun.

Smith's 3-year-old daughter was also inside the residence and was turned over to relatives, according to state police.

Smith faces multiple charges, including possession of marijuana and ecstasy with intent to deliver, possession of a firearm, and endangering the welfare of a child. State police say he was taken to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $116,300 cash bond.
