Man booked for circulating obscene photographs of married woman - Times of India

Assistant inspector of the Wanowrie police station Suvarna Hulwan told TOI that the woman and the suspect were known to each other. They were in contact till the year 2009. Later, the woman went abroad with her husband. "Recently, the woman's relatives started receiving her obscene photographs on their cellphones. Her daughter too received those photographs," Hulwan said.

She said that the suspect also sent obscene messages to the woman's daughter. "Police investigations have revealed that the woman had sent her personal photographs to her husband, who is still abroad. The suspect allegedly hacked the messenger service and circulated those photographs," Hulwan said.

Hulwan said that the police have also decided to book the suspect under Information and Technology Act. "We have launched a search to trace the suspect," she added.
