Two people were killed in an East Bexar County crash that also involved two different hit-and-run drivers, officials said.

Bexar County Sheriff's Office spokesman Paul Berry said a man and a woman on a motorcycle were headed south on Loop 1604 between La Vernia Road and U.S. 87 when just before 9 p.m. they were hit by a truck.

The driver of the white Ford F-250 didn't stop, Berry said.

The two motorcyclists were on the roadway when they were run over by a brown Chevy pickup, which also didn't stop, he added.

They died at the scene. Officials have not confirmed their names or ages.

Berry said the white pickup likely has front-end damage. He said there could be blood on the front of the brown pickup, which is outfitted with a lift kit.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Bexar County Sheriff's Office at 210-335-6000.
