Police arrested two people Friday after finding cocaine, heroin and other drugs at a Bristol Township apartment.

Kareem Dupree Ballard, 29, and Taylor Davis, 21, were arrested during Friday morning's search warrant conducted by Bristol Township Police and FBI agents from the Bucks County Violent Gang Task Force.

They face felony drug charges and related offenses.

Law enforcement officials forced their way into Davis' apartment at Victoria Gardens Apartments on Haines Road, after hearing someone in the apartment running from the front toward the back when they knocked on the door and announced the search, according to court papers.

Once investigators entered, they found Davis, Ballard and a third person, who as of late Friday had not been charged, standing in the bedroom.

In that room, authorities found 79 packets of heroin, 10 small bags of crack cocaine packaged for sale, 2 additional grams of crack cocaine and 19½ clonazepam pills, which are used to treat panic disorder and seizures.

In the kitchen, investigators said they recovered items such as a digital scale with white residue, one plate with a razor blade and another with a straw and spoon that also had white residue, according to the criminal complaint.

They also found a red ink stamp with a thumbs-up symbol and 24 blue unused wax paper bags commonly used to store heroin.

Also found were a plastic container with tweezers, a razor blade and cut straw, which are used to package narcotics, court papers read.

During the interview, the third person admitted to packaging the cocaine with Davis.

"In a separate interview, Davis stated that (Thursday) night she handed a plate to Ballard in the kitchen," the court papers state.

"Ballard then cut a chunk of crack cocaine into smaller pieces on the pate using a razor blade. Ballard then packaged the smaller pieces for sale."

Davis told authorities that the size of the crack cocaine before being cut was a "little smaller than a ping pong ball" and that along with the cocaine Ballard "had a bag with heroin in it while he was cutting the cocaine."

She admitted to delivering heroin from the apartment since November.

They were arraigned Friday before District Judge Jan Vislosky and were each sent to Bucks County prison in lieu of $350,000/10 percent.
