COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Troopers from all posts of the Ohio State Highway Patrol netted more than 150 drug and felony arrests during a three day "All Out Days" statewide operation.

The patrol conducted the operation from 12 a.m. on November 8 until 6 a.m. on November 10.

During the operation, troopers were patrolling Ohio roads in an effort to remove criminal elements. The operation also aimed to reduce fatal and injury crashes.

Troopers made 119 drug and 33 felony arrests, apprehended 67 wanted individuals, and initiated 82 criminal cases. Troopers also arrested 281 impaired drivers.

During one traffic stop in Ashtabula County on Friday, troopers seized 36 pounds of hydroponic marijuana, worth an estimated $230,000. The driver of the vehicle, David Elliot, 63, of Lake Oswego, Oregon, was arrested and charged with trafficking in marijuana and possession of marijuana, which are felony charges. He is being held in the Ashtabula County Jail.

An hour later, troopers in Wood County seized 1,430 Oxycodone pills, 182 Alprazolam pills, and 60 Levetiracetampills, worth an estimated $31,000, during a traffic stop. The driver, Eddie Lamar Marshall, 41, of Fraser, Michigan, was arrested and charged with trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs, which are felonies. He is being held in the Wood County Jail.

"The Ohio State Highway Patrol has had a renewed emphasis on removing criminals from Ohio's roadways for the past couple years," explained Colonel John Born, Patrol superintendent. "The results have been overwhelming – troopers are removing more drugs and criminals than ever before. These arrests will have a direct impact on Ohio communities."

The public is encouraged to call #677 to report impaired drivers and drug activity.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol plans to conduct at least one more "All Out Day" operation before the end of the year.
