CLANTON, Alabama -- A traffic stop led to jail for two people in Clanton after police found methamphetamine and other drugs in their car, according to a news release from the Clanton Police Department.

Misty Dawn Cleckler, 22, and Aaron Jessie Cook, 19, both of Clanton, face charges of having methamphetamine packaged to distribute, second-degree possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of prescription drugs, according to the Clanton Advertiser.

The two were stopped last Saturday at a gas station off Fourth Avenue North.

Police found nearly nine grams of meth in "ice" form, which police said is more than would be considered for personal use, hence the charge for intending to distribute.

Both have posted bail, according to the Advertiser.
