METRO VANCOUVER - Chilliwack Mounties have arrested a 62-year-old they say was selling cocaine out of his car while out on bail for a previous trafficking charge.
Abbotsford's Glenn Mazhar Haqq was arrested last Thursday around 11 a.m. on Chesterfield Avenue and is now charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. He was kept in jail until a court appearance Monday because he allegedly violated his bail conditions tied to another trafficking charge relating from a Sept. 13, 2012 investigation, according to Cpl. Len van Nieuwenhuizen.
"It goes without saying that he shouldn't be trafficking drugs," said van Nieuwenhuizen. "It is unusual to have a 62-year-old still committing crime - it's unfortunate."
Haqq doesn't have any known gang affiliations van Nieuwenhuizen said.
