Two people killed in road accidents in the county - Northamptonshire Telegraph

Two people have been killed in road accidents in the county.

A pedestrian, believed to be in his twenties, died when he was involved in a collision with a vehicle on the A510 between Wellingborough and Finedon just after midnight on Sunday (October 27).

The driver of the vehicle was not injured and police said the victim's family has been informed.

In a second accident, at about 2am, the front seat passenger in a Renault Laguna car died when the vehicle hit the central barrier on the M1 at Junction 15 at Northampton.

Sgt Ashley Moore, of Northamptonshire Police, said: "No further details on the accidents are available at the stage and we are investigating both collisions."

Witnesses to the accidents are asked to contact the police on 101.
