BAHRAICH: A girl student has accused her neighbour of drugging and clicking her obscene photographs and later blackmailing her. Her family reported the matter to SP Gonda. The girl alleged that the accused has taken Rs 45,000 in several installments from her.
According to police, a girl of Bakthorwa village under Etiyathok police station used to freqent her neighbour's house. The girl's father worked in Mumbai and deposited money for her daily expenses in her account every month.
The girl said that she was given sleeping pills by her neighbour Iqbal. When she fell asleep, he took her obscene photographs and later threatened to make the photos public .
The girl narrated the incident to her father who complained it to the SP. Circle officer (CO) city Gonda RP Singh said the girl often visited the accused house and her allegations were serious. The investigations were on in the case and girl's statement has been recorded, Singh said.
