Police recover obscene video clip of Asaram Bapu - Zee News

Jodhpur: In another scandalous revelation, it has been reported that police have recovered a video clip of controversial spiritual guru Asaram Bapu in which the self-styled godman is shown rubbing his hand on a woman's body.

According to a news channel, Shiva, the caretaker of Asaram, had recorded the video. The aide has reportedly made a CD of a number of obscene video clips of Asaram.

Meanwhile, the police have raided the Ahmedabad-based ashram of Asaram to recover the CD.

Asaram, 72, is currently lodged in Jodhpur Central Jail after a Rajasthan court in Jodhpur city on Monday sent him to 14-day judicial custody.

Asaram was arrested for sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl on September 01.

The 16-year-old girl alleged that the sexual assault took place on August 15 at Asaram's ashram outside Jodhpur city and the complaint was filed by her on August 20. The spiritual guru has denied the charge.
