A 20-year-old and a 17-year-old were arrested last week in the town of Lafayette after a search netted a pound of marijuana and a large amount of cash.
Ethan M. Whaley, 20, was the main target of the investigation by the West Central Drug Task Force.
He was taken to the Chippewa County Jail after being arrested for delivery of marijuana, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, maintaining a drug house, possession of drug paraphernalia and for selling marijuana and being in possession of marijuana with intent to deliver within 1,000 feet of a correctional facility.
Investigators were acting on information that Whaley was selling multiple pounds of marijuana in the Chippewa Falls area, according to a release from the Chippewa Falls Police Department.
The task force executed a search warrant at 5721 160th Street in Lafayette, and found about one pound of marijuana and approximately $7,500 in a safe.
A 17-year-old boy was also arrested.
