Two people killed in Accomack County crash - The Virginian-Pilot

ACCOMACK COUNTY

Two people died in a single-vehicle crash Sunday night.

Shortly before 8 p.m., a 2008 Jeep Liberty was traveling south on Va. 605 when it went into a ditch on the left side of the road, hit a culvert and overturned several times, said Sgt. Michelle Anaya, a Virginia State Police spokeswoman. The driver and the passenger were ejected from the SUV.

Devin Moore, 23, of Onley, the driver, and Mark Wallace Sr., 54, of Exmore died at the scene, Anaya said. Only Wallace was wearing a seat belt.

Anaya said reckless driving was a factor, and it was not known whether alcohol played a role.
