POLICE IN INAGUA MAKE DRUG ARRESTS

INAGUA, Bahamas - Three (3) men, a 29-year old, a 21-year old and a 19-year old all of Inagua are in police custody as a result two (2) separate drug arrests made by police on that island on Friday 28th December 2012. In the first incident, around 4:30pm a team of Police Officers in Inagua assisted by officers from the Royal Bahamas Defense Force executed a search warrant for dangerous drugs at an Albert Street residence where they found a quantity of dangerous drugs. A 19-year old male was taken into custody in connection with this matter. In the second incident, shortly after 5:00pm a team of Police Officers in Inagua assisted by officers from the Royal Bahamas Defense Force executed a search warrant for dangerous drugs at a Meadow Street residence where they found a large quantity of dangerous drugs. A 29-year old male and a 21-year old male was taken into custody in connection with this matter. Investigation continues.

MOBILE DIVISION OFFICERS MAKE DRUG ARREST

Nassau, Bahamas - A 24-year old male of Millennium Gardens is in custody after police arrested him for possession of dangerous drugs on Friday 28th December 2012. Police reports indicate that around 9:50pm officers from the Mobile Division were on patrol on Wulff Road when they observed the suspect acting suspiciously. The officers approached the suspect, conducted a search of his person and found a large quantity of suspected drugs. The suspect was subsequently arrested and taken into custody.Investigation continues.

MOBILE DIVISION OFFICERS ARRESTS ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS

Nassau, Bahamas - A 22-year old male and a 21-year old male are in custody after police arrested them for an armed robbery that occurred on Friday 28th December 2012. According to police reports, around 10:30pm an adult male victim was walking on Fritz Lane when he was held up and robbed of cash and a cell phone by two men armed with a firearm. The suspects then fled on foot. Moments, later officers from the Mobile Division on patrol arrested a 22-year old male and a 21-year male in the immediate area in connection with this matter. Investigation continues.
