DELHI, N.Y. (WBNG Binghamton) -- In a news release issued Tuesday, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office Drug Enforcement Unit announced the arrest of seven suspects in connection with an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking in the Village of Walton and the surrounding area.
According to the news release from the Delaware County Sheriff's Office:
The lengthy investigation, which includes surveillance and undercover drug buys, is part of an ongoing effort by the Delaware County Sheriff's Office Drug Enforcement Unit to arrest and prosecute individuals involved in the ongoing distribution of illicit drugs in Delaware County.
On Friday, November 30th, Deputies arrested 30-year-old Edna Cering of Walton, on a sealed indictment warrant issued by the Delaware County Court. Cering was charged with one count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree, a Class C Felony, for allegedly selling Suboxone. Cering was arraigned in the Delaware County Court on Monday, December 3, and remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility with no bail.
On Friday, November 30th, Deputies arrested 21-year-old Brittany Bakker of Walton, on a sealed indictment warrant issued by the Delaware County Court. Bakker was charged with two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, Class B Felonies, for allegedly selling Heroin on two separate occasions. Bakker was arraigned in the Delaware County Court on Monday, December 3, and remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility with no bail.
On Friday, November 30th, Deputies arrested 27-year -old Ryan McGovern of Walton, on a sealed indictment warrant issued by the Delaware County Court. McGovern was charged with three counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, Class B Felonies, for allegedly selling Heroin on three separate occasions. McGovern was arraigned in the Delaware County Court on Monday, December 3, and remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility with no bail.
On Friday, November 30th, Deputies arrested 25-year-old Robin Jordan of Walton, on a sealed indictment warrant issued by the Delaware County Court. Jordan was charged with one count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree, a Class C Felony, for allegedly selling Hydrocodone. Jordan was arraigned in the Delaware County Court on Monday, December 3, and remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000.00 bail.
On Friday, November 30th, Deputies arrested 23-year -old Frank Mastrorocco of Walton, on a sealed indictment warrant issued by the Delaware County Court. Mastrorocco was charged with three counts of Criminal Sale of Marijuana in the Third Degree, Class E Felonies, for allegedly selling more then 25 grams of Marijuana on three separate occasions. Mastrorocco was arraigned in the Delaware County Court on Monday, December 3, and remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000.00 bail.
On Monday, December 3rd, Deputies arrested 30-year -old Christopher Pashley of Walton, on a sealed indictment warrant issued by the Delaware County Court. Pashley was charged with one count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class B Felony, for allegedly selling Heroin. Pashley was arraigned in the Delaware County Court on Monday, December 3, and remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility with no bail.
On Monday, December 3rd, Deputies arrested 29-year -old Kimberly Pashley-Johns of Walton, on a sealed indictment warrant issued by the Delaware County Court. Pashley-Johns was charged with one count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class B Felony, for allegedly selling Heroin. Pashley-Johns was arraigned in the Delaware County Court on Monday, December 3, and remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000.00 bail.
Members of the Delaware County Sheriff's Office Drug Enforcement Unit will continue their efforts to arrest and prosecute individuals involved in the distribution of illicit drugs in the Walton area as well as all of the towns and villages of Delaware County. Investigations are on-going and more arrests are pending.
